Crab rangoon is the creamy, crunchy appetiser on every takeout menu. Baking the wonton wrappers in a muffin tin makes crisp little cups with no frying, and the filling is crab, Neufchâtel and Greek yogurt with scallions. A drizzle of sweet chili sauce finishes them.

Ingredients

For 4 portions.

Wonton cups

  • 12 wonton wrappers
  • cooking spray

Crab filling

  • 4 oz Neufchâtel cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt
  • 6 oz lump crab meat, picked over
  • 2 scallions, finely sliced
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

To finish

  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce

Method

  1. Heat the oven to 375°F. Spray a 12-cup muffin tin, press a wrapper into each cup and spray the wrappers.

  2. Bake 6 to 7 minutes until golden and crisp.
